The author

Julian Ferrow’s fiction follows strangers who arrive in places where other people already know the rules. A greeting, an offered drink or the way someone moves through a building can invite the wrong conclusion. His historical stories attend to hospitality, work and the damage an apparently reasonable person can do by misreading a situation. He writes for Timberline Road Publishing and keeps his private life out of public view.
